Our history
2022
Foremore started with research across the construction supply chain. After speaking with contractors and merchants, running paid cargo bike pilots, and building our first platform, we found the clearest opportunity: faster, cheaper, cleaner delivery for building materials. By the end of the year, we had landed our first major customer.
2023
We officially launched Foremore with our first large customer in Amsterdam. As demand grew, cargo bikes were replaced by electric vans so we could handle heavier orders and prepare for zero emission city logistics. The platform improved with time slot bookings, proof of delivery photos, and automatic driver matching. More merchants joined, our first customer expanded across more branches, and we raised our first investment round.
2024
The next test was whether Foremore could work beyond one city. We launched in Utrecht and The Hague, working with existing customers in new regions and bringing new merchants onto the platform. As the operation grew, we added services like returns, exchanges, and live ETAs to give merchants and their customers more control. Revenue doubled compared to 2023, and further investment helped us prepare for the next stage of growth.
2025
By 2025, the focus shifted from entering new cities to building a stronger delivery network. Rotterdam became our fourth metropolitan area, while we began procuring vehicles built specifically for building materials logistics and onboarding external carriers alongside our own fleet. The platform developed further to support this wider network, and annual revenue doubled again compared to 2024.
Today
We're building toward national coverage by mid 2027. With our new fleet, growing carrier network, and delivery platform, we're helping building materials merchants offer faster, cleaner, and more reliable delivery to their customers every day.
